Sia is legally changing her name from Sia Furler to Sia Bernad one year after marrying second husband Dan Bernad at Dolce & Gabbana's Villa Olivetta in Portofino, Italy in front of four guests.

The Australian 48-year-old singer's attorney officially filed the name change request on Thursday according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

Sia and Dan - whose relationship dates back to December 2021 - will then celebrate their first wedding anniversary either next Monday or Tuesday (the exact date of their intimate nuptials has not been disclosed).

Before meeting Bernad, the nine-time Grammy nominee declared to GQ in February 2020 that she had 'decided to be single for the rest of my life' following her 2017 divorce from golf documentarian Erik Anders Lang after just two years of wedded bliss.

In 2019, Sia legally adopted two 18-year-old men who aged out of the foster care system, and one of them has since fathered twins - making her a grandmother-of-two.

The name change news came during a year of transformation for the camera-shy pop star, who admitted in a December 10th tweet that she underwent liposuction to manage the weight she gained while taking a mystery medication.

'Had to take a medication that made me put on a lot of weight that I just can't shift with exercise or thyroid meds so I went in for lipo today,' Sia - who boasts 51.8M social media followers - confessed on X.

'Please know that I am so lucky to have the resources to change the way I look and that when you see me looking crazy foxy again that I want you to know it did not come from diet and exercise. I want to be truthful about all of my procedures so I don't contribute to the system that tells us we aren't enough.'

The two-time Golden Globe nominee had previously confessed to undergoing an 'amazing face lift' from plastic surgeon Dr. Ben Talei (who won outstanding achievement in medicine) while speaking onstage the Fifth Daytime Beauty Awards in LA on October 1.

'He is incredible. And he is doing so much good work - and not just for the pop stars of the world,' Sia said inside the Taglyan Complex.

'I was showing someone in the back my before-and-afters right before I came on. People go, "You look nice." I'm like, "Dr. Ben Talei, face lift" for like anything you could ever want. I love him, I can't say enough good about him.'

The Fame Won't Love You singer raised eyebrows by revealing that she was 'on the [autism] spectrum' while appearing on the May 25th episode of Rob Has a Podcast.

'For 45 years, I was like, "I've got to go put my human suit on,"' Sia explained.
